Our treatment strategy involves a comprehensive interdisciplinary approach where we place the patient at the center of all of our decisions. Beyond making your MS boring, we help manage chronic symptoms to help you live your best life. Options extend beyond multiple sclerosis to include headache pain management, infusion therapy, counseling on the use of vitamins and dietary supplements, and healthful lifestyle changes to relieve symptom discomfort and improve treatment outcomes. Aaron Boster, MD | President, MS Specialist

Aaron Boster, MD

President, MS Specialist

Dr. Boster is a board-certified Neurologist specializing in Multiple Sclerosis and related central nervous system inflammatory disorders. He decided to become a multiple sclerosis doctor at age 12, as he watched his uncle Mark suffer from the disease in an era before MS treatment was available.

Dr. Boster grew up in Columbus, Ohio, and attended undergraduate school at Oberlin College. He earned his MD at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed an Internal Medicine and Residency in Neurology internship at the University of Michigan. He then completed a two-year fellowship in Clinical Neuroimmunology at Wayne State University.

Dr. Boster participates in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact. He is currently licensed to practice in Ohio, Alabama, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Tennessee, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. He is pending licensure in Texas. All new patients are required to have their first appointment in person at The Boster Center for Multiple Sclerosis.

Dr. Boster has been intimately involved in the care of people impacted by Multiple Sclerosis; He has been a principal investigator in numerous Clinical Trials, trained numerous Multiple Sclerosis Doctors and Nurse Practitioners, and published extensively in medical journals. He lectures to MS patients and providers worldwide with a mission to EDUCATE, ENERGIZE and EMPOWER people impacted by multiple sclerosis.

He lives in Columbus, Ohio, with his son Maxwell.

Valerie Gregory, APRN-CNP

Certified Nurse Practitioner

Valerie Gregory has over 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry and specializes in the care of oncology patients as well as those with neurological disorders, spinal cord injuries, and traumatic brain injuries. In addition to her work with The Boster Center for MS, Valerie has been on the care teams at Great Lakes Practitioners, LLC, and The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center-Dodd Hall. As a CNP, she is trained to diagnose and manage self-limiting and chronic conditions while emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. In the course of her work, she is called upon to order, conduct and interpret diagnostic and laboratory tests; prescribe pharmacological agents and non-pharmacological therapies; teach and counsel patients and colleagues.

Valerie has known since she was a young girl that she wanted to be a nurse who helps others through their most difficult times. As a nurse practitioner, she is able to care for her patients throughout their entire lifespans. In her own words, she “cannot think of anything more rewarding or satisfying.” Valerie enjoys traveling to new places, spending time outdoors, trying out new restaurants and going to concerts.

Heather Hamilton

Chief Operating Officer

Boster Center Chief Operating Officer, Heather Hamilton, holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ohio  University, and is a certified registered nurse of infusion. She knew from an early age that she wanted to provide care to patients and chose nursing to pursue that end. She grew even more appreciative of her health care experience when she helped an immediate family member navigate through multiple sclerosis treatment. Heather enjoys outdoor activities with family and friends, swimming, biking and softball.

The Boster Center’s Clinical Research Manager, Erin Woodburn, has been involved in research for over 20 years. She started in neurology with Dr. Boster in 2012. Erin holds a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management and Administration. She enjoys outdoor activities with her family. During football season, they love to watch OSU and Pittsburgh Steelers games.

Finance Manager

Boster Center Finance Manager, Diane Borchart, has had the experience of multiple sclerosis impacting members of her immediate family for over 35 years, and was the primary caregiver of a parent with the disease for over four years. Diane holds an Associate Degree of Applied Business in Fashion Merchandising and enjoys spending time with family, reading, painting, writing, fashion, cooking and spending time outdoors.

Tiffany Gist turned her love of helping others into a career as the Infusion and Refresh Ohio Manager. She received her Associate Degree in Nursing from Central Ohio Technical College and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ohio University. Tiffany enjoys working on DIY projects, playing with her dogs and cat and supporting her daughter as a firefighter / EMT.

Sarah Zidar is a Clinic and Revenue Cycle Manager at The Boster Center. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Capital University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing. She has always had a desire to connect with, and help, people by providing excellent care. Sarah enjoys playing with her dogs, hiking, reading and game night with friends.

“I have always had a passion for caring for people as well as making a positive impact in their lives,” says Allie Gray, The Boster Center’s RN Clinic Lead and an infusion nurse. Allie, who holds an Associate of Science in Nursing from Fortis College, enjoys travel, reading, and being with family and her four dogs.

Ashley Wattenbarger is the Boster Center’s Procedure Specialist. A licensed practical nurse, Ashley came to the Boster Center for Multiple Sclerosis after working with patients who had suffered spinal cord and brain injuries. She enjoys cooking, hiking and traveling.

For Marcie Pugh, becoming a nurse was a calling she knew she wanted to pursue at a very young age. Marcie has used her skills and 32 years of expertise to help patients heal, recover and thrive. She received her Associate degree in Nursing from Columbus State Community College. When she is not providing care to others, she enjoys spending time with her large family, getting lost in her books and all things arts and crafts.

Jamie Eichensehr is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. That passion led her to become an Infusion Nurse at the Boster Center for Multiple Sclerosis. Jamie was educated at Columbus Community College and Ohio University. In her leisure time, she enjoys drawing, painting, reading, and hanging out with her family.

Tosha Heineman began questioning the causes of particular diagnosis while visiting her mom, who was the manager in an alzheimer’s and dementia unit. It was this curiosity and her desire to help people that led Tosha to pursue a career in medicine, and to a clinical research coordinator position at the Boster Center. A certified medical assistant, Tosha likes attending baseball with her son and walking her English bulldogs.

Jake Lanning is a Clinical Research Coordinator at The Boster Center. He had long wanted to pursue a career in the medical field and studied at The Ohio State University receiving a Bachelor of Science in Biology. “Research was something that I found both interesting and important, and in the pursuit of that I found myself here at the Boster Center.” Jake enjoys watching the Buffalo Bills, playing hockey and spending time with friends.

Kristen’s healthcare training includes an Associate of Applied Science degree from Houston Community College’s Coleman Campus.
